One of my classmates gave every one a Hershey's Kiss. I seriously felt like I was in grade school and I was supposed to bring in Valentine's Day cards for the whole class ("I Choo, Choo, Choose You").
I wasn't scheduled to work today, but I can imagine the copious amounts of red my coworkers must have worn. Wouldn't be surprised if there were some heart covered sweaters involved... ::shudder::
Yeah, I've haven't been a fan of the holiday since I was a kid, everything feels so forced and well, this year flying solo doesn't make it much better. I wore all black and one of my coworkers brought in cupcakes just like in elementary school.

ReplyDeleteLooking back, I did end up wearing black that day, probably did so subconsciously.
I am definitely printing out those cards (using the library's printer) next year for work!
