I know how patrons love how convenient it may be to be able to call the branch and resolve any issues over the phone. I ask that you please try not to multitask while doing so ie renewing your books while driving--reading off your account number on the library card which is attached to your keys which is in the ignition is not recommended. Or let's say calling about your account while you're using the bathroom.

There are certain audible cues that give away your location. Namely, the echo and the sounds of things hitting water. Also, talking louder or clearing your throat does NOT cover up the noise of a 1.6 gallon Kohler flushing in the background.
